Dirt rally 2.0 is my first serious driving sim (I've only played older NFS games before), and I also use a ps5 dualsense controller. The first few hours the game mercilessly kicked my butt, but soon I've learned to pace myself and even got a few podiums.

Between optimizing settings, a mod for brightness and another for sharpness it can look really good in VR and the mods have no noticeable performance hits.

Note: Sliders have opposite logic in WRC 8 and Dirt Rally 2.0. Dirt Rally 2.0 Hint: A high lock percentage will improve straight-line traction although it may induce understeer particularly in low grip conditions (Remember front wheels slip more than rear wheels). A low lock percentage will improve cornering at a cost of straight-line stability.
jC7vmCU. The TS-PC is more than 2x stronger than the G27. If you want to lower the strength you can do it in 2 ways: 1. Lower the in-game strength. In dirt rally you sadly have no overall slider so try to put every ffb setting to 50% of what it currently is. This however will not reduce the maximum peak strength.
Worked great with a Xbox controller for me. I played this and Dirt Rally with a gamepad and it works fine. It probably takes a little more practice to get a sense of exactly what the wheels are doing, and you obviously tend to flick and jerk the car more than steering it in a conventional sense, but it's fun.
